Annie, a Clydesdale, came to Where Pigs Fly with Bob the donkey when their owner could no longer care for them. The pair had spent many years confined to a small round yard before the sanctuary offered them both a home.
While she arrived with Bob as her long-term companion, Annie has naturally gravitated toward spending time with other horses at the sanctuary. After years of limited space, she now enjoys the freedom to roam the paddocks. She’s comfortable with this new arrangement, maintaining her connection with Bob while forming relationships with her own kind.
She’s a gentle character who moves calmly around the sanctuary grounds, spending most of her day with the horse herd. Annie has adjusted well to life with space to move freely, showing that even long-established animal friendships can evolve while remaining important. Her quiet confidence and easy-going nature make her a peaceful presence in the sanctuary.
