Daffodil was rescued from severe neglect. When she first came to the sanctuary, she was in such poor condition – malnourished and suffering from a lice infestation. The sanctuary team provided veterinary treatment and proper nutrition to restore her health. Over time, with gentle care and patience, Daffodil began to trust people again. Now healthy and content, she spends her days grazing alongside her friends Marigold and Dougal in the sanctuary paddocks. Daffodil is very bossy and, despite her size, is the leader of the horse team, including Annie a Clydesdale horse.
Regular health checks and proper care ensure Daffodil stays in good condition.
Rescue date: August 2014.
