Gilbert wasn’t wanted. Labelled aggressive and badly behaved, he was going to be without a home. Gilbert arrived at the sanctuary to the welcoming arms and faces of our sanctuary team. Small and adorable, Gilbert made fast friends of all the volunteers who were mesmerised watching his playful antics and bouncy ears. 

Gilbert enjoys spending time with his goat friends, especially Guzman. Wanted, loved, and cared for, Gilbert has quickly found his stride and enjoys the refuge sanctuary life provides. Gilbert is someone, not something.
