Jeremy was found as a frightened piglet wandering through inner-city suburbs. After a good samaritan brought him to Where Pigs Fly, he quickly adapted to sanctuary life. He soon discovered the joy of natural pig behaviors, particularly digging wallows and exploring the paddocks with other rescued animals.
Jeremy has developed into a larger than life character with a unique personality – a mix of boldness, humour and sensitivity. His curious nature leads him to investigate new things around the sanctuary, while his playful side shows through in his interactions with other pigs. He’s become famous among visitors for his ability to hold four apples in his mouth at once at meal-times.
During hot days, he can be found cooling off in muddy wallows or seeking shady spots to rest. He spends most of his time with his pig companions, foraging for treats in the soil and roaming the paddocks. Jeremy particularly enjoys snoozing in his fresh straw bed, curled up with his piggy friends.
