Molly, named after ‘The Unsinkable Molly Brown’ from the Titanic, came to Where Pigs Fly after being rescued from pig-hunting dog trainers. When found, she had lost both ears and had severe injuries across her body from being used as bait. Her survival showed remarkable resilience.
At the sanctuary, Molly has left the trauma of her past behind and found peace. She’s developed into a confident pig who helps visitors understand the importance of treating all animals with compassion. Her gentle nature, despite her difficult past, often surprises people meeting her for the first time.
Molly spends her days exploring the sanctuary grounds and enjoying the safety of her new home. As one of the sanctuary’s ambassadors, she shows visitors how intelligent and emotional pigs can be. Her presence helps educate people about the need to protect and respect all animals.
