Wilma

Wilma

Wilma was just a few weeks old and weighed less than a kilo when she was found wandering alone around a stranger’s yard. She arrived at Where Pigs Fly tiny, frightened, and desperately missing her mother. We quickly set about making sure this tiny baby felt safe and comfortable.

Now settled into sanctuary life, Wilma spends time with other sanctuary residents, forming friendships with pigs Bubbles and Paul. She’s developing typical playful piglet behaviours, exploring her surroundings with growing confidence.

Each night, Wilma returns to her cozy, warm shelter – quite different from her uncertain beginnings. She’s one of the lucky few who found their way to safety, and her growing strength and happiness show how well she’s adapted to sanctuary life. Wilma is one of the lucky few. She will never be alone and afraid again.
