Why Do We Rescue Farm Animals?

Farm animals are among the most abused creatures on Earth.

An estimated 80 billion land animals are reared and killed for human consumption each year around the world. The majority of these animals were raised on factory farms, which maximise agribusiness profits at the expense of the animals, the environment, social and public health.

These numbers continue rising every year, driven by industrialised farming practices and growing global demand for animal products.
