How long are the tours?

Our guided tours run for approximately 2 hours, plenty of time to interact with the rescue animals and ask plenty of questions!

The sanctuary is located in Laguna in the beautiful Wollombi Valley, only an hour’s drive from Sydney (Wahroonga) and Newcastle or 50mins from the Central Coast, making it perfect for day trips. Historic villages are close by with plenty of cafes and stores to browse.

Yes. Tours often book out, so we recommend reserving early to avoid missing out.

Closed-toe shoes are essential. We also recommend sunscreen, a hat, water and clothes suited for the weather and the farm location.

You will meet rescue pigs, cows, goats, sheep, alpacas, and more — all rescued from neglect, abuse or abandonment. We don’t force any animal to interact, it is entirely their choice and their home. We have plenty of extroverts who love humans and always keen to meet visitors.

Absolutely. Our tours are family-friendly and children are always welcome with adult supervision.

The sanctuary is set on natural, uneven ground, which may make access challenging in some areas. That said, we’re committed to creating a welcoming experience for all visitors. If you or someone in your group has mobility needs, please get in touch with us before your visit — we’ll do everything we can to assist and accommodate you.

We don’t sell food or drinks at the sanctuary, so we recommend bringing your own water and light snacks. There are lovely cafés, bakeries and shops in nearby Laguna and Wollombi villages — just a short drive from the sanctuary. Good coffee too.

We love animals, but for the safety of our rescued residents, no companion animals (including dogs) are allowed at the sanctuary.
