Herman

Herman

Herman came to Where Pigs Fly with his friend Lola, and the two alpacas have remained close ever since. While Lola is known for her outgoing personality, Herman has a quieter, more reserved nature that’s equally endearing.

Together, Herman and Lola spend their days grazing in the paddocks, cooling off in the dams and watching over their part of the sanctuary. Despite his shyer personality, Herman’s natural curiosity shows through during sanctuary tour days, when he and Lola often follow visitors around the property to see what’s happening.

Being social animals, alpacas thrive with companionship, and Herman’s close bond with Lola demonstrates this perfectly. They’re rarely far from each other taking comfort in their shared friendship. Herman’s gentle presence and quiet confidence add their own special character to the sanctuary’s diverse community.
