Honey came to Where Pigs Fly when her previous owner could no longer care for her. Honey had no space to roam at her last home as she was kept inside most of her life so we were curious as to how she would adapt to sanctuary life. Honey settled straight in becoming an active member of the goat team, confidently exploring paddocks, climbing on rocks and socialising.
Honey takes a gentle approach to life at the sanctuary and is particularly affectionate with volunteers, often pawing at them when she thinks they haven’t given her enough attention. Her sweet nature makes her popular with visitors.
Honey has formed strong bonds with several other goats in the herd. Her gentle personality and social nature make her a delightful presence at the sanctuary. We love her dearly.
